Fogelstrom - Blair, NE USA I purchased this WD Digital Scorpio Blue 500GB 2.5″, 8MB Cache, 5400 rpm SATA HDD to replace the original Hitachi 120GB Hard Drive in my one month old Slim PlayStation 3. After the installation, I noticed that it is not really 500GB but 465GB. After restoring the 12.9GB PlayStation 3 back-up, I only have 400GB Free Space left. I can’t understand why that much space lost.
The good part is that installation was easy and it is quiet. I just hope Western Digital will explain in their description the lost amount of space.
